One in four people will experience mental health issues during their life. Behind the glitz and glamour of fashion, there is an overlooked side to the industry which is raising issues that affect all of us.

The Collective is joining forces with ‘This Place Minds’ and TLC Lions to promote positive mental wellbeing in the highly competitive and often critiqued retail, hospitality and fashion industries.

Mental Health is rising up corporate agendas. Organisations are increasingly aware that a failure to address employee “wellness”, and particularly issues around mental health, can be costly. Join us to explore these issues and look at ways in which organisations can remove the mental health stigma within the workplace and encourage a healthy engaged workforce.

Alexandra Kutas joins us from TLC Lions and is the world’s first runway model in a wheelchair, Ukraine’s first fashion model with a disability and an entrepreneur. Alexandra, who was born paralysed from the waist down, has worked to support disability and mental health awareness in Ukraine and abroad. Alexandra demonstrates how the ability to take risks and not let anyone or anything define what you are capable of.
